I want to express my sorrow on the loss of Patrick Swayze today. He lost his battle with pancreatic cancer and died peacefully. My favorite character played by Patrick is Johnny Castle in Dirty Dancing. If you haven’t seen that movie, please watch it. It’s one of my all time favorite movies. Naturally, all of the Dirty Dancing videos on YouTube have embedding disabled, so I’ll have to make do with just a photo.

I always liked him and he was one of the moral types, long-time marriage, etc., in Hollywood. Valiant struggle.
